Happy Easter!

Yesterday the kids and I have been baking Easter cookies. We had great fun and they even taste good. The recipe of the sugar cookies I found in Peggy Porschen's Cake Chic. Love her books!

Beautiful Holland!

One of my favourite times of year is Spring Time. Spring flowers are blooming and the sense in the air is fabulous. The beautiful colours of the flower fields surrounding our house are very inspiring to me......

Cupcakes....

This weekend I tried my luck on some cupcakes for a baby shower. Instead of using a heavy Crème au beurre I used some Royal Icing covered with a typical Dutch decoration "wit met blauwe muisjes". Quite happy with the result!

Cliphanger...

A fuchsia heart with an embroidered name and some Candy Cane Ribbon resulted in this cute Cliphanger for a little girl called Frederique. From now on she will never have to search for her hair clippies again!

Cliphanger

My little girl has a big box filled with hairclips. Everyday she is digging through to find a pair of matching clips to complete her outfit. To save her some time in the morning, I made a haircliphanger to store all her favorite hairclips. As of today also available in my webshop. Handmade! Only available in very small numbers to keep them a bit more exclusive.

Crochet Flowers

This weekend I bought a simple striped t-shirt for my daughter. To add just a little color I made some crochet flowers which I glued on with my all-time favorite glue!

I just love the result. And my daughter does too!
