Beannie Pillow

Today it was sunny ... but icy cold. A great day to start on a special pillow for a little boy! For the pillow itself I used a heavy piece of terry cloth. After having finished the pillow, I picked out several boyish looking scraps of fabric. The cut out letters were then ironed onto the terry and to secure them I sewed them on by using a simple blanket stitch. It turned out wonderful and it was great fun to make!

For the boys...

My little boy wanted to have a Geisha patch just like his sister. So mommy had to grant his wish with her magic embroidery wand. One happy boy! It will look great on his dark blue long sleeves t-shirt.

Geishas

Today a little taste of Azia! These cute Geisha embroidery designs have been on my to do list forever. Today I finally decided to give them a try. They resulted in these cute iron-on applications. Ideal for decorating little girls' tops or tees, or whatever you like! Just grab your iron and start pressing.... (sizes approx. 7 cm x 10 cm).

Love & Peace

My little girl just loves the Love & Peace shirt I made for her just recently. The embroidering of the bus was quite time consuming, but she is so happy with her cool sixties shirt!

Fun activity...

I found a new fun activity.. Making cute applications from embroidery designs. You can use them to accessorize almost everything: t-shirts, pants, skirts, bags, keyholders etc...
