Sinterklaas Kapoentje...

December is the month of festivities. I love cold winter days snuggling up in front of the fireplace with the smell of cinamon and spice surrounding me. Also the time to decorate and bake. For Sinterklaas (5th of December) I have tried my luck at baking a Pietentaart. Now it's time to get the X-mas decorations out and think about a X-mas cake!

Pom-Pom Maker

A couple of years ago I saw a nice decorating idea in Marie Claire Idées (No 71, Dec 2008). My children spend numerous hours on the couch making pom-poms for my little project. To start them off I cut out a couple of donut shaped pieces of cardboard which they used to wind the wool around. However, these paper rings did not last forever, so I ended up making a couple of new ones. Therefore, I was thrilled to find these Pom-Pom makers on the market. They are easy to use and last forever. In addition they are 'quite easy to use for children. If you are interested you can get them in my shop as of today!

For the boys...

My little boy wanted to have a Geisha patch just like his sister. So mommy had to grant his wish with her magic embroidery wand. One happy boy! It will look great on his dark blue long sleeves t-shirt.

Bath Towels

These bath towels were given a personal touch by digitizing a drawing from a little girl's Birth Announcement Card into an embroidery design.

Flowers & Butterflies

A friend asked me to personalize a bag she had bought for her daughter. She loves flowers & butterflies. The young girl told me in detail how she wanted her custom-made application to look like. I think she did an excellent job, it blends in perfectly! Well done Rosalie!!

Pimp your shirt!

A little while ago I bought this plain looking shirt for my little girl. It took me quite a while to figure out what I wanted to do to it. Eventually I took a piece of cute looking woven ribbon and gave it my personal touch! I just love the simple things in life!
